Concrete Resurfacing

There are a variety of decorative overlay or concrete topping options to cover worn or damaged concrete surfaces including:

  • Interior concrete floors
  • Garages
  • Driveways
  • Patios
  • Pool decks

Interior Stain and Sealed floors

Our interior overlays are generally installed using a light gray, self-leveling cement based material. It is formulated to provide us with a “new canvas” that is designed to accept architectural stains and concrete sealers. This provides a perfect palette for designing unique and artistic floors for retail stores. Applications include showroom floors, restaurant floors, hotel lobbies, lofts, condos, and residential homes. Please check our gallery for design ideas.

Interior DiamondCrete Polished Concrete Toppings

Interior self-leveling overlays may also be diamond polished to replicate traditional polished concrete floors. Our DiamondCrete system uses the same cement based material to cover the existing concrete slab. One or more colors can be added from our color charts. The floor is then polished to a glossy finish. Penetrating sealers are used instead of topical sealers. This means the floor never has to be resealed. These floors capture the beauty of concrete seen in many high-end retail stores. Exterior

We offer a variety of textures and finishes for exterior concrete resurfacing. These are a few of the finishes we suggest for exterior concrete:

  • Broom finish – designed to have the look and feel of freshly placed and broomed concrete. Typical areas include parking decks, driveways, sidewalks, parking lots or any horizontal concrete surface requiring repair of spalled areas, low spots, etc.
  • Hand troweled finish – this technique is accomplished in layers usually with trowels. The hand troweled finish creates an exceedingly smooth, tight-trowel finish with variation and marbling much like venetian plaster and is beautiful when combined with architectural stains.
  • Skip trowel finish – this textured finish creates the look of natural stone and can be combined with stains to appear “aged” or “distressed”
  • Spray texture – spray texture delivers a multitude of possible textures including: knock down, wet bubble, stencil patterns, orange peel, bubble texture, etc… Each design contributes to a non-skid cementitious surface. Typical areas of application include pool decks, patios, walkways, and driveways for both residential and commercial projects.
